| RSS is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. RSS solves a problem for people who regularly use the web; it allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving summaries of the latest content from the sites you are interested in. You save time by not needing to visit each site individually.
You read these RSS files in a program called an aggregator, which collects news from various websites and provides it to you in a simple form. You can download aggregators and install them on your computer for free. A handful of examples are below;
