YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU

As you may be aware the club has made it to the second phase of England Hockey funding bids. This means we have an extremely good chance of progressing further in the funding rounds, but to do this we need to complete a more comprehensive application form and supporting documents.

The project team have now progressed this bid as far as they can with some specific areas of expertise that we hope club members may have or be able to access for us. Please Please come forward if you think you can help in any way as this will only work if we all pitch in - it`s a team Game.

We have identified specific help we need at this stage;

Legal/Contracts Advice  - This person may not necessarily be a solicitor or lawyer but someone with contractual procedure understanding

Technical Drawing/Building Surveying/Building - We need to produce detailed drawings showing the facilities we have and the proposed improvements

Financial Brain – Anyone who works in a finance type area who would be willing to check over the financial aspects of the bid and look at some of the more technical elements.

Tendering Projects/ Work/Contracts - Anyone who could take the time to offer and advice as we progress would be well received.

Obviously as the bid progresses further (fingers crossed ... touch wood etc) we will need to call on the help of a whole host of people with different contacts and expertise. We will obviously need help organising fundraising, events and other aspects of bringing money into the project. You know what your strengths are so please don`t be afraid to come forward and let us know how you think you might be able to us ...... everyone`s assistance will be gratefully received.
